Design Process
What should you expect if you'd like a custom design project with me?
Here is a sample timeline and process I follow when starting a new project. I work to ensure that I can do everything to make this process easy, enjoyable, and effective for you.

These are the general steps that will follow once we connect on a project!

Creative Brief
After receiving an email, I will send over some questions for you to answer so I can better understand your needs and desires for the project. This brief ensures that we are both on the same page with the project, and I can get an understanding of your timeline, budget, and delivery format.

Payment & Timeline
After receiving or communicating your specific project and ideas I will send a price quote and estimated timeline for your project. For larger projects, a 20% deposit is required initially before I begin working. Oce the project is complete and receives your approval, the remaining payment will be due.

Rough Drafts
Once payment is received, I will being working on rough drafts or prototypes for your design! I will then start putting together your design elements and typically come up with several variations to chose from.

Feedback
After creating initial mockups and ideas, I will submit the ideas to you. I will make any changes or revisions as requested, and this process is repeated until you feel the project meets or exceeds your expectations.

Final Delivery
Once the design project has been finalized and approved, I will deliver the final project in the requested format as outlined in the creative brief. This is also when final payment is due.
